
DANIEL BALSZ Co-Founder
Daniel’s industry know-how stems from years of working in all facets of entertainment, from the agency business, development at Tri-Star Pictures, Warner Bros. Studios and Columbia Pictures, motion picture casting, producing and investor relations for numerous independent films, and of course, his life work, writing and creating original content for filmed entertainment and television. In non-fiction television, Daniel has worked with and developed projects for networks such as History, Science Channel, and Esquire Network. Educated at Art Center College of Design in Film, he is also a graduate of the prestigious Warner Bros. Sitcom Writers’ Workshop and the UCLA Film/TV production program. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Daniel is a true California native, and an avid LA sports fan.

TRACY BALSZ Co-Founder
Tracy Balsz is an entertainment-industry marketing executive with over 20 years’ experience working with studios, distributors and filmmakers promoting to a niche audience launching films and television shows into the marketplace. While at Warner Bros. she worked on hundreds of motion pictures and television series providing production and post-production services, working with top producers, directors, talent and below-the-line artisans. She started IndieMarketing in 2005 to work with producers, distributors, and the media to provide branding, awareness and distribution services of feature films, television shows, and documentaries. Tracy also produced the inspirational, award-winning documentary Go Far: The Christopher Rush Story. A UCLA graduate with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration, Tracy is still active in the UCLA Alumni Band.

DONOVAN JACOBS Executive Producer
Donovan’s experience as an executive and producer of non-fiction television includes Development Producer for the Science Channel project Uncharted. He served as Story Editor on the nature series The Savage Line for NatGeo, a Field Producer on the OWN human interest-inspirational series Extraordinary Acts of Courage, and Story Editor and Writer for the pilot (about the Oklahoma City bombing) of the CNN series Crimes of the Century. Donovan also served as Vice-President of Development for Pitch 5 Productions. In addition, Donovan has an extensive background in motion picture and fictional television development, serving as a script consultant for numerous networks, including Disney Channel and Lifetime. He’s worked on a range of movies and TV projects ranging from Z to Z (the Disney Channel Original Movie Z-O-M-B-I-E-S and the Warner Bros. true crime feature Zodiac.) Donovan graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Communications Studies then (after briefly losing his mind and trying law school) earned an MFA in the Producers’ Program at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television.
